Nuff said. #AlAqsa #FreePalestine
We, the Palestinian people don't ask for much, as we simply want basic human rights. We want to be heard, we want the assurance of the safety of our families back home, and we want the world to stand with us even when we are being silenced. The importance of using social media platforms in order to educate and shed light on current events in the world is a true work of art.
This form of informing has enabled those who are silenced in the name of oppression to have a voice. Allowing those who do not have a voice to be heard is a privilege everyone should eagerly use to make a difference. “The people have become the media” is the newest and most beautiful phrase to date as it shows how important it is to recognize how powerful it truly is to use your platform no matter how big or small it may be.
Let us be reminded, it was our voices that called for a ceasefire amidst a devastating genocide on the Palestinian people. Although a “ceasefire” has been announced, our movement to a #FreePalestine will continue. As long as it takes.
